Aft Curtain

A single curtain secured to the rear of a top (T-Top, Sunshade, Bimini) that extends to the aft to enclose the boat and which may contain a window

Bimini Top

A collapsible, freestanding top on a frame which protects the boat from the elements

Bow Cover

Guards the open area of the bow against animals, weather, or any other intrusions while moored. Usually fastened with snaps. Also known as a Mooring Cover or Tonneau Cover

Camper

Canvas enclosure with windows and Bimini extension, often found on express cruisers

Carpet Runners

Snap-in canvas parts to shield carpeted areas

Cockpit Cover

A cover that spans from the windshield to the transom to shelter the boat from animals, weather, or any other intrusions while moored. Typically held with snaps 

Console Cover

Defensive cover for the center console and instruments to safeguard them from the elements

Convertible Top

Similar to a Bimini except that is not freestanding; rather, it directly latches onto the top of a windshield to screen weather

Drop Curtain

Canvas that hangs from the sides or back of a Top right down to the floor and which may contain a window

Forward Bimini/Forward Sunshade

Small Bimini usually positioned forward of the radar arch that protects from the sun and the elements

Instrument Cover

Preserves the instrument panel of the boat

Hatch Cover

Offers UV and heat protection for hatches

Mooring Cover or Trailer Cover

A cover the length of the boat that stretches over the bow and the stern and rub rail on either side. It is supported by poles and attached with snaps

Side Curtain

Usually a clear window that snaps to the deck or the windshield of the boat and affixes to the sides of a hardtop or Bimini

Windows

Clear vinyl that extends from a T-Top or Bimini top down to the fiberglass or windshield to enclose a boat
